Social Skill Builder Games I and II are here!
These two board games were developed to teach social, interpersonal, safety and problem-solving skills to children and adults with Autism and those with other developmental disabilities.

Game I is designed primarily for children ages 6-13. It
utilizes "GO DO" cards to help children practice initiating social interactions,
greetings, and conversation skills. The "WHAT IF" cards help children
learn problem-solving techniques to common situations, and the "MIRROR" cards
help teach emotional awareness and reading of facial cues. Two hand
mirrors are included with this game to provide immediate visual feedback.
Game II is designed for older adolescents over age 13 and adults. This game also utilizes "GO DO" cards to teach further social interactions and conversation skills with others. The "WHAT IF" cards help teach problem-solving skills to situations more common to older adolescents and adults. The "SAFETY" cards are used to teach safety and self-preservation skills.
Games may be played by as many as 4 players at one time with an adult moderator. Non-disabled and neurotypical peers often enhance this experience and add to additional learning of turn-taking, commenting and sportsmanship skills associated with game playing. Training occurs in a fun environment with the possibility of friendship building between all participants.
